Dear Lady of Fatima, we come on bended knee
To beg your intercession for peace and unity.
Dear Mary, won't you show us the right and shining way?
We pledge our love and offer you a rosary each day.
You promised at Fatima each time that you appeared
To help us if we pray to you to banish war and fear.
Dear Lady, on first Saturdays we ask your guiding hand
For grace and guidance here on earth and protection for our land.
O Mother Immaculate, we come to you today
To honour and beg you: Teach us how to pray
For justice and holiness to permeate our lands
And grace from God our Father to follow His commands.
O Virgin most holy to you we consecrate
Our lives, our possessions, and this apostolate.
O Queen of the heavens, invoke your glorious Son
To save us so that all of us will see His Kingdom come.
Happy Sunday:) Please prayerfully consider living out the devotion to Our Lady of Fatima by honoring her first Saturday request
St. John Paul II said in his Letter to Artists:
“None can sense more deeply than you artists, ingenious creators of beauty that you are, something of the pathos with which God at the dawn of creation looked upon the work of his hands.
Most all of us know the background of Fatima and we are blessed immensely on this special 100th anniversary, in that two of the sweet little visionaries, Jacinta and Francisco are to be canonized!
The Third Secret of Fatima occurred on May 13, 1917. When you read it, the words can look like a strange apocalyptic prophecy.
"You have seen hell where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace.
The first secret given to the three Fatima children during the third Apparition on 13th July, 1917 was a vision of Hell.
When I first heard about Our Lady of Fatima I actually wasn’t that interested in what She had to say. In my mind, Our Lady of Fatima was just another appearance of Mary to those on earth.
