“Heart of Mary Women's fellowship, is the lasting legacy of the life, conversion and death of Ashley Scanlon-Smith. Every act of service I have given to the ministry is a fruit of the life Ashley. I have been a good person my whole life, but to have been gifted the responsibility of such a service of making Ashley more known, at times renders me speechless.” Michelle Workman, founder of Heart of Mary Women’s Ministries
Remembering Ashley
““These are such a beautiful stories about Ashley’s life and her love for the Lord. You always hear people say that they are one person, what difference can they make. Ashley’s life proves that it only takes one person to change the lives of many. Thank you for sharing this story. I will be praying for this new journey you are on. May God’s will be done and my Ashley’s story continue to touch lives around the world. God bless you.””

For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope. Then when you call upon me and come and pray to me, I will hear you. When you search for me, you will find me; if you seek me with all your heart, I will let you find me, says the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile. Jeremiah 29:11-14
Heavenly Father, Thank you for sharing the gift of Ashley, an example of holy sweetness and radiant light. Thank you for her infectious smile, her laughter that warmed hearts, her heart that loved without limits and her faith in You that inspired many. May we, just like Ashley, believe in Your true presence and sit vigilantly with You in adoration proclaiming, “The Eucharist is a glimpse of Heaven on Earth.” Teach us how to embody, like Ashley, the two greatest commandments and humbly lived them out daily. As she loved You, God, with all her heart, mind and soul and loved her neighbors as herself, teach me how to smile, laugh, love, and have a faith as strong as Ashley’s, so that I may inspire others like she did. Amen.
“God saw her heart and heard her “yes” and set her soul of fire, her love for him to share with all was what she most desired and then one day he called her name and said come home with me, she ran to him with open arms for all eternity!”
