Patty Schneier

Speaker, Award-winning Singer/Songwriter & Producer – Trish Short is best known from EWTN Global Catholic Television Network as one of the singers on 'The Chaplet of Divine Mercy in Song’. An international bestseller, this contemporary melody of 'The Chaplet in Song' has been airing worldwide on EWTN since 2002. Trish grew up in a large family that struggled through the brokenness of divorce, alcoholism, depression and addiction.  Tragically, it was the final aftermath of two abortions as a very young woman that led Trish to The Chaplet of Divine Mercy. With a compelling testimony of coming back to the Faith through Divine Mercy, Trish would later be commissioned by The National Shrine of Divine Mercy to compose a Contemporary Christian arrangement of the Chaplet.  Approaching 9 million views on YouTube, 'The Chaplet in Song' has become a social media phenomenon and has been recorded in five languages. Trish began her career as a former model & actress garnering national commercial, print & film credits.  Responding to a call from God, she poured her industry experience into over 20 years of Christian media and outreach ministry producing many television, video & music projects.  As a highly sought after speaker and singer, Trish delivers a straight-to-the-heart message of hope and healing through Divine Mercy –  her music and personal witness testify to the love, mercy, and power of God to transform a life.

Patty Schneier is a life-long Catholic, housewife, and mother of three from the Archdiocese of St. Louis. She and her husband Larry are active members in their parish, where Patty cantors for Sunday Mass. Since October 2003, Patty has been speaking at parishes and Catholic Conferences across the United States, sharing her personal testimony “Prove It, God!”… And He Did. Using song, scripture, and writings from her journal, Patty shares the story of her challenge to God and His daily response. The results were life changing! Her conversion marks the beginning of a totally new life in Christ, a renewed marriage, and a ministry in public speaking. In 2007,  Bishop Paul Zipfel sent 25,000 copies of her testimony to every Catholic household in the diocese of Bismarck, ND , and in June 2013, it was distributed nationwide as the “CD of the Month” for Lighthouse Catholic Media. With additional talks written specifically for teens, parents, women’s groups, and priests, Patty gives witness to the beauty of the Church’s teachings and her love of the Catholic Faith.

When she isn’t traveling, she enjoys rooting on her beloved Trojans and Dodgers and being outdoors.
